I've been going to Augie & Lynn's shop since 1997, 22yrs and counting now. From the very first week I moved to the Bay Area. Augie and Lynn were good people, and Lynn gave me many many great haircuts. I tried a few other shops early on since I didn't always live close by, but they didn't compare. I would drive 30mi to go Augie & Lynn's every time I needed a haircut. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! A couple years ago, Lynn retired and Jenny came in as the owner. She immediately upgraded the interior of the shop, which is a whole lot nicer to hang out in. Jenny has expanded the staff, and I've gotten haircuts from all of them, and all give great haircuts! They're all friendly people, and it's just a comfortable place to be for an hour. I see people of all types and ages going there. I don't see any reason to get a haircut anywhere else for the next 22yrs! Jenny works hard to make sure you are a happy customer. Really a top notch barber shop.
Jenny is a great barber able to do any request. I originally found this place looking for someone who was able to do medium length cuts since most of the barbers around the San Jose area mostly just do short hair and fades. Exceeded expectations and next cut I changed styles again and she was able to do exactly what I asked for. Will definitely be coming back.
I have been going to Jenny's long before Jenny took over from her aunt Lynn. It used to be Augie and Lynn. Since she retired Jenny took over. It's always been a great experience going here not to mention they have great quality service. I started coming here may be more than 10 years ago when we enrolled our kids to the Kumon class which was just next door of the shop. As it was convenient, I went in for the first time and later on got to know Lynn and ever since then I made this place my barber shop to go since I also live around the area. Later on, Lynn retired, and Jenny took over. The transformation of the place is really amazing from what it looks way back then. And Jenny has made this place truly great one that I know Lynn would also be proud off. Jenny is wonderful, has always a great smile for everyone and is fantastic at what she does. I've even brought my dad here before and Jenny got to know him as well. My dad also loves this place as he said he always get the hair cut here quick and easy. Sadly, he is no longer with me, but I know for sure if he's still around he will remind me to take him here whenever he needs to get his hair done. So, thanks Jenny for the wonderful experience and keep it up. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely!!! 100%. Honestly this is the only place I go to.
